OUR STORY
For the past seven years, my family has navigated the highs and lows of FIFO life. My husband works offshore on the west coast of Australia while our home is based in Newcastle, NSW.

A registered psychologist, wife, and mum to two beautiful daughters.
Like so many families in this lifestyle, we’ve experienced both the challenges and the rewards. FIFO has been isolating at times, mentally and physically demanding, and has required us to constantly adapt. But it has also given us extended periods of quality family time, strengthened our resilience, and deepened our communication. Through trial and error, we’ve learned that strong communication and a true team mentality are the foundations of making mobile work sustainable.
